Cyster pays homage to the Cistercian monks, discoverers of the Valley of the Churches, and pioneers in grape cultivation in the area.
It is the result of blending different micro-plots of old bush vineyards at altitudes between 650 and 700 meters, featuring granite and sandy soils, and exposures to both the north and south.
